Just lost my job December 26th from Obamacare. Owner fired CEO, VP and Me, employees 48,49,50. We were also highest paid in company. I’m finding something in my field I’ve never seen before, part time jobs. So they don’t have to give you insurance. And after I lost my job, I had to have a root canal and tooth extraction and implant, after my insurance was cancelled. That cost me $5000 when I was out of work. Now for 4 months. Thanks Obama, I had insurance, now I don’t, and I don’t even have a stinking job. Wait for the full implementation of this, the Great Depression will seem like a warmup.

Very good article. The Vatican does need to lose its privileges including its status as an independent state. I hope to live to see Italy annex it. It really would help the Church. Remember Christ said His Kingdom is not of this world.

Most of the pretensions of the papacy are really divine right of kings doctrine and not Christian teachings.

Here in the USA we need to demand the right to elect our own bishops instead of the secret imposition method. The present system is 180 degrees backward. The pope should be giving the acclamation routinely and not the selected congregation at an installation. There are several ways to do this but not the way it is done today.

Also, the corporation sole where the bishop has the absolute control of all the assets in a diocese must be abolished. We have models already with other churches and other non-profits. If the bishop will not reform his diocese, then Cesare which is the state or feds need to step in. I am talking real independent boards not those like we see around the country controlled by the bishops.

Catholics need to understand that the papacy they see today was invented and refined in the atmosphere of the dark ages where the people were considered serfs under the control of the lord either religious or civil. That kind of administration has no place in the modern world especially in Western Civilization.
